Welcome!
Hello! My name is Ashton Dunphy and I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker offering telehealth for individual and couples therapy to those who live in Arizona and Colorado. I do offer in-person therapy for clients living in Mesa, Arizona, and surrounding areas!
I specialize in helping individuals and couples work through relationship distress. Whether that’s in a marriage, through dating, or family relationships.
Many times, people come to me experiencing anxiety and depression related to conflict within their relationships, and I utilize an EFT (emotion-focused therapy) approach to help individuals get to the root of where their emotions are coming from, find new ways to cope with how they are feeling, along with identifying ways to communicate their needs with their loved ones.
If you are struggling within your relationships, or experiencing any anxiety or depression symptoms in your life, book a free consultation with me to get started on your healing journey through therapy!

My Approach
My goal as a therapist is to create a safe, compassionate, and empathetic place for you to be able to share what you are thinking and feeling and know that there is no judgment. Our friends and family can offer support, and while it’s important to have that support, they oftentimes tend to try to problem solve without the tools necessary to guide you in the right direction.
Let me guide you into a deeper understanding of yourself, so that you can start looking at yourself with compassion, start having better relationships with others, manage those emotions that seem to be too tough to deal with sometimes, and grow into the person you want to be.
